ABOUT LUCKY WHITE GIRL.COM:
This is a blog about politics, racism, sexism, art and literature, popular culture and academia because those are the subject areas of my life. The title is a reference to white privilege. For more on white privilege read the Invisible Knapsack essay by Peg McIntosh and also whiteprivilege.com.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
I have a BA in English Literature and an MA in International Relations. Currently I work for a non-profit labor rights advocacy organization in Washington DC. I speak English and Spanish.

Some random facts:
I love the smell of horse manure.
I've done a lot of traveling outside of the U.S. but only to countries beginning with the letter 'C'.
I really like Argentinian cinema and Ricardo Darín is my favorite actor.
