- Research intern, Coca-Cola World Citizenship Program, Habitat for Humanity Latin America and Carribean office. Formed part of a research team composed of five students carrying out an impact study in four Latin American countries. May 22- August 4, 2006.

1.) Worked with the Anishnaabe (Objibway) people on the Asubpeeschoseewagong American Indian reservation (Canada) during their blockade to prevent illegal logging on native lands and enforce treaty rights.
2.) Accompanied rural fishing and farming communities and local human rights activists in and around Barrancabermeja, Colombia. Attended and represented CPT at international conferences, wrote and edited reports on local human rights situation, conversed with and reminded armed groups of civilian rights and maintained vigil during their encounters with non-combatants. Advocated for changes in US foreign policy that negatively affect peace-making efforts of Colombian civilians.
- Co-founder and volunteer, HOME (Homeless Outreach Mobile Effort) Van, Former volunteers at St. Francis House (SFH) decided a mobile “free store” was needed to provide socks, personal hygiene products and food to Gainesville-area homeless who were not able to get to SFH. Once a week informal outings of four to five friends to local campsites eventually became a project of the St. Vincent de Paul Society with hundreds of volunteers, twice weekly excursions and one paid staff member. September 2002- present.
- Office assistant, West Palm Beach Public Defender, Gainesville Extension Office, Death Row Liaison. Assisted in maintaining office communications with inmates, lawyers and other interested parties; organized and kept track of extensive files and records for over 300 individuals and provided logistical support for abolition events. October 2000-May 2001.
